Tonight I head back into the frozen tundra of the midwest for SlackMom's Annual Russian Christmas Party. Russian Christmas was last week, but SlackMom postponed because younger slackbrother j. was supposed to move in last week and I thought I'd be playing Tetris with all my wordly possessions.
Of course, I'm still going to be playing Tetris with my possessions, just at Mr. Boy's house. The Slackmistress & Be the Boy Detective Agency will now reside under one roof starting February 1st. Which means I have two weeks to pack, repaint, and haul my crap across town. Then there's a little matter of a wedding to plan.
SlackFamily is being great, but I'm curious as to how the announcement will go over with their friends. Currently I've only gotten one well, you can always have it annulled, and that was from my Manager.
Let's hear it for people skills.
I have laundry to finish, packing to do, eBay auctions to post (the preliminary batch is here, and there's more clothes, purses, and bras to come), a script to polish and the thousand-and-one little things that go hand-in-hand with completely overhauling your life. It's all good, but I'm feeling a wee bit overwhelmed today.
And if you haven't already, feel free to come out of the woodwork here!
